**Swagelok, Northeast Ohio, USA**

The Swagelok Career Development Program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders and technical professionals within our organization.

This unique program offers recent graduates from engineering, operations, or business disciplines the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and leadership skills through various operational and corporate rotations.

Participants will rotate through three key assignments, each lasting 12-18 months, in their first three years of employment.

The program provides exposure to areas such as operations supervision, engineering, manufacturing/assembly planning, sourcing, customer service, and human resources.

These business-critical assignments offer broad, rich operational and business experiences to enable career growth, supplemented with ongoing training, development, mentoring, and support from key management associates.

**Program Structure for this role:**

+ **Rotations** : Participants will complete three rotations across different operational areas, each lasting 12-18 months.

These rotations will provide exposure to core operations, process improvement, team management, and project execution.

The third rotation will be dependent on the engineering path of the participant.
+ **Mentorship** : Each participant will be paired with an experienced leader who will provide guidance, support, and career development advice throughout the program.
+ **Training** : Comprehensive training programs will be offered to enhance technical skills, leadership capabilities, and business acumen.

+ **Career Paths** : Each participant will be selected for one of the following:

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

**General:**

+ Demonstrate technical skills while rotating through three key assignments in your first three years of employment.
+ Gain initial experience as you transition from college student to professional through exposure and experience to a variety of areas including (but not limited to): manufacturing/assembly engineering, quality, sourcing or customer service.

**Job specific:**

+ Apply learned engineering education and skills.
+ Support small to mid-size projects and programs.
+ Review and analyze best practices to determine, recommend, and implement next steps.
+ Participate and lead LEAN/CEDAC and other similar events.
+ Gain knowledge of key programs and policies critical to the business.
+ Present end-of-rotation summary to key company leaders.
+ Provide technical support for other engineers.
+ Interact efficiently with functional departments.
+ Support and continuously improve processes.
+ Identify, create, and apply best practices and standards.
+ Provide analytical problem-solving and process troubleshooting support in the area of expertise.
+ Communicate progress through management updates and team meetings.

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:**

**Required:**

+ A BS Degree in mechanical, industrial, material, electrical, welding, manufacturing engineering or related field with a minimum of a 3.00.

**Preferred:**

+ Co-op or other relevant experience in a professional engineering capacity is highly desirable.
