Champion internal APQP meetings and open issues relating to assigned programs.
Ensure all deadlines are met at the plant relating to PPAP and NMR's Work in coordination with the Manufacturing and Quality teams to report on trials Report on process development and Lessons Learned Schedule inter-plant Internal Craftsmanship Reviews Monitor and ensure accuracy of labeling and packaging for all new model parts Assist in development of quality standards and expectations for new model programs Ensure parts are passing through Safe Launch and/or assist part level change confirmations Participate in cross-functional internal continuous improvement activities and document aspects of R&D for claiming purposes.
Assist with cross functional development of APQP readiness tasks Monitor completion of all Operational APQP Work with plant Operational teams to ensure communication of timing for new launch Ensure success at being standard at SOP (zero defects, quoted staffing, quoted output, quoted scrap) Lead and Coordinate all of ECN's and implementation of ECN's Education & Experience Requirements
Recognized engineering technical diploma in related area.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Automotive Engineering preferred. Must have 2-5 years' working experience within the automotive engineering field.
Knowledgeable in integrated manufacturing technology, project management, work flow analysis, manual and automated assembly processes and customer requirements as they relate to the products under development and in production at Plasman manufacturing facilities Good understanding of part Control Plans, PFMEA's, OIM's, Inspection Standards Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
Must be well skilled in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD and 3D Viewer programs. Working knowledge of Customer Quality Standards Other Requirements
Ability to perform well in high pressure situations Capable of independent travel to, from designated regions Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills both written and verbal Must be able to be a leader to all employees
