**This posting is submitted in anticipation of future roles at Edwards.**

**To qualify for Co-Op opportunities, the candidate must be available to work full-time from January - August 2026.**

**Program participants will work in our corporate headquarters in Irvine, California** **or manufacturing** **facility in Draper, Utah.

**POSITIONS AVAILABLE**
We are looking for driven and innovative engineering students interested in Spring-Summer Co-Ops in 2026

**How you could make an impact:**

+ Opportunity to work as a Research & Development, Clinical Development Engineer, Quality Engineer, and more
+ Gain hands-on experience working closely as a part of an engineering team to develop, test, and implement designs pertaining to advanced medical device technology to address issues caused by structural heart disease.
+ Develop design skills and act as an integral and contributing member of the development team.
+ Design and test new concepts and contribute to the development of innovative medical devices (functional testing, mechanical testing, and simulated use).
+ Provide documentation support and complete written reports on testing and designs.

​ **_To qualify for Co-Op opportunities, the candidate MUST be able to work in person and full-time from January - August 2026._**

**What you'll need (Required):**

+ Currently enrolled as a student for the duration of the Co-Op project – must **graduate December 2026 or later** .
+ **MUST be able to work in person and full-time from January - August 2026**
+ Must be in good scholastic standing (3.0+ GPA or equivalent).
+ Must not require a company sponsorship for employment-based visa now or in the future.
+ Attention to detail and time management skills
+ Proactively seek direction from senior engineers
+ Assist in documenting production department concerns and aid in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
+ Proficient in drafting software (Solidworks or Creo Parametric preferred).
+ Ability to actively participate in design reviews and provide relevant feedback for teammates.

**What else we look for (Preferred):**

+ Junior or Senior standing preferred, pursuing degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering etc.

Course completion of engineering mechanics and mechanical design is preferred.
+ Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience.

Interest in the healthcare and medical devices industry is a plus.
+ Comfortable working in laboratory environment.

Hands-on and highly motivated.

Able to follow procedures, perform testing and clearly convey data results.

**Timeline:**

+ Interviews will occur in mid-October for those invited.
+ Offer decisions will be made by mid-November.

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $54,000 to $72,000 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
