Job Responsibilities
Collaborate on cutting-edge 3D CAD and 2D drawing projects: Develop, review, and release designs into our innovative system.Get hands-on with prototype builds: Assist in creating prototypes for customer orders and testing parts.Drive continuous improvement: Participate in projects that enhance our processes and procedures.Support diverse manufacturing tasks: Engage in activities like tube/rod bending, quality assurance, prototype fabrication, and generating work orders.Translate customer needs into actionable tests: Understand specifications and create precise test instructions.Dive into data analysis: Assess test results for durability and reliability, and craft detailed reports.Organize and update documentation: Keep our DVPR and related documents in top shape.Collaborate across teams: Work on projects with various functional groups at Tenneco. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline.
Prefer Sophomore level or higher. Qualified applicants will be considered for opportunities within Engineering dependent on experience and business need.
