You will work with versatile engineering teams who design and develop the perimeter security solution of Apple that safeguards critical services and systems from all sorts of security threats.
The ideal candidate will have a passion to learn, develop and build on technical expertise, and also a desire to own major programs and drive them to success.
**Description**
We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual to: - Be responsible for the roadmap, priorities, prioritization, and timelines of critical programs - Supervise day-to-day program activities and engineering scrums - Continuously identify ways to improve processes with measurable results - Partner with engineering, QA and operations teams throughout the development cycle, from design and implementation to validation and release - Identify and connect with multi-functional collaborators, influence decisions and attain the support required for the success of the projects - Act as focal point for the development teams and manage relationships with other functional teams - Ensure all teams are aligned on scope, requirements, timeline, resource allocations, and execution plan - Drive technical deep dives, lead root cause analysis discussions, summarize outcome of discussions/decision - Present and communicate new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to leadership
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
+ At least 3 years of program management experience in software development
+ Experience leading sophisticated technical programs for multiple multi-functional teams
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of program management experience in software development
+ Experience defining product roadmap, leading Agile/Scrum development processes and managing complete software development lifecycle
+ Ability to identify and mitigate risks, prioritize demands, and drive solutions in a highly fast-paced environment, while using data analysis to uncover gaps and trends to influence functional changes
+ In-depth understanding of the OSI model and its application
+ Familiarity with network protocols and technologies
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
