SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Engineering Technician V.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is looking for an Engineering Technician V for the Hardware Solutions Business Area.
The Engineering Technician will beresponsible
for the build, integration and test of hardware and software capabilities for
Electronic Warfare Systems.
Duties include requirements and design/drawing
review, component build/test/Quality Assurance (QA), and system integration and
test.
Lead/Mentor junior technicians in the execution of their job duties Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain
desired.
Qualifications:
Education: High school/vocational school diploma or GED
certificate.
Experience: Fifteen (15) years of full-time
professional experience working as an Engineering Technician in providing
technical support related to the design, development, production, or testing of
shipboard systems.
Ten
(10) years full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting,
repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment.
The
desired full-time experience precludes concurrent experience on more than one
system/equipment unless they are all equivalent in complexity and maintenance
philosophy.
Top
Secret/SCI personnel must be certified in Security+ at a minimum and certified
SYSADMIN in one, or more of the following Operating Systems:
Clearance: TS/SCI
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - This positions requires the following physical activities: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and looking at computer screens.
Infrequent lifting of <40lbs.
Movement between points within the same office or between buildings.
Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
