Become part a team of highly skilled subject matter experts providing world-class technical support to the US Navy.
Fast-paced technical position requiring testing and troubleshooting of shipboard communication system components and systems to include development of system and component level test procedures.
Travel includes conduct of shipboard communication system upgrades, grooms, and technical assists.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position.
Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
High school diploma and at least 5 years of related experience
Familiarity with the use of basic testing equipment such as multi-meter, watt meter, oscilloscope, and signal generator
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
Ability to work independently
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
US Navy shipboard or shore site experience
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
