Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Engineer/Scientist for our Practice in our Menlo Park, CA office.

In this role you will work as part of a team to conduct hands-on failure analysis, field inspections, electrochemical and other laboratory testing, as well as work with clients to evaluate corrosion control and integrity management measures.

Your long-term goal will be to develop business and bring new clients to the firm.

You will be responsible for

  • Conducting hands-on failure analysis
  • Planning and executing laboratory tests
  • Conducting field inspections
  • Working with clients to develop, evaluate, and improve their corrosion control and integrity management programs
  • Communicating effectively with other engineers, technicians, managers, clients, and administrative staff
  • You will have the following skills and qualifications

    in Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Corrosion or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within project teams with a strong desire to contribute
  • Specialized knowledge of materials characterization techniques (., SEM, FIB, TEM, EDS, XPS, Auger, SIMS, FTIR, acoustic microscopy, X-ray)
