Position Summary
The Enrollment Strategies and Analytics (ESA) Coordinator is responsible for implementing and overseeing the processes and timelines supporting marketing and outreach initiatives for continuing education courses and programs, including print publications and electronic communications and related data analysis and reporting.
This includes overseeing the workload and workflow of the ESA team.
The Coordinator will assist the Assistant Director and Director in implementing the operational procedures related to continuing education courses and program success.
The Coordinator is responsible for collecting, compiling and reporting data related to outreach efforts, course and program evaluation and program success.
The Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of ESA in Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD).
Job Duties and Responsibilities
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Provides occupational market research to department staff in new course or program creation processes to determine job outlook and financial viability for potential students.
Provides marketing effort reporting for courses or programs in the review process.
Uses labor market data to keep department staff and school leadership informed of emerging program and course opportunities to meet community needs.
Conducts market analysis and utilizes data analytics and customer feedback tools to determine growth and improvement possibilities.
STRATEGIC PLANNING: Assists the Assistant Director in the development of annual marketing plans with CEWD department heads to assist them in achieving school and college strategic priorities.
Provides insights into, and analysis of, marketing efforts and course performance throughout the year to help ensure CEWD departments meet their goals.
Assists programming department staff in developing specific objectives and strategies for marketing and recruitment to achieve enrollment goals.
MARKETING: Coordinates with Strategic Communications to implement annual marketing plans developed with the Assistant Director and CEWD departments.
Coordinates the implementation and assessment of continuing education marketing initiatives including print and electronic communications, including editing for tone and target population.
Assists with the shared workload of the ESA team to ensure deadlines can be met, including web page updates, flier review/editing, print media editing/coordination, social media advertisement creation, email campaign drafting and sending, etc.
Provides support to various outreach opportunities such as AACC Open Houses, community outreach events, and trade shows.
ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT: Implements the annual marketing plan for CEWD courses and programs and provides assessment data on plan initiatives to assist department staff with effective enrollment management.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COLLABORATION: Assists the Assistant Director in collaboration with appropriate college divisions, instructional departments, off-campus sites, etc., in facilitating program success whenever possible.
Represent the Assistant Director at meetings, on committees, and with external organizations as requested.
COMPLIANCE: Coordinates with Strategic Communications for best practices and protocols and ensures CEWD staff adhere to all College policies, procedures, and internal controls in their marketing and outreach efforts
BUDGET AND FISCAL MANAGEMENT: Assists the Assistant Director with managing ESA budgets marketing effort reporting to ensure appropriate return on investment and spending.
OTHER DUTIES: As assigned by Assistant Director, Director and/or Assistant Dean.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum two years of related experience in developing and performing outreach and student engagement initiatives in an education institution, training organization or professional association.
Minimum of two years’ experience developing and performing data analysis in an education institution or similar organization.
Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and excellent general technology skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive environment and the ability to deal tactfully with all internal and external constituents.
