Job description

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for a Enterprise Endpoint Engineer IT team.

The Enterprise Endpoint Engineer is responsible for the design and deployment of configurations, policies, settings, and applications for all managed end-user systems.

The Enterprise Endpoint Engineer works under the guidance and supervision of the Endpoint Solutions Architect but will also work with Infrastructure, Desktop Support, Information Security, and other IT groups to create and implement a support structure, improve security posture, and maintain endpoint lifecycles.

This position will also act as technical resource for technical support staff and work with multiple Agency departments to ensure their managed endpoints meet their technical requirements.

Your role in action:

  • Configures and maintains endpoint management systems (Microsoft Intune, MobileIron)
  • Builds, tests, and maintains imaging systems for Windows devices.
  • Builds, tests, and maintains application packages & distribution methods for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Maintains and monitors endpoint compliance profiles to enforce security standards.
  • Works with other IT members to help remediate non-compliant devices.
  • Ensures appropriate configurations, policies, and scripts are properly deployed to endpoints.
  • Provides standardized reporting on device compliance, application deployment, endpoint patch management, and software inventory.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides support for Desktop Services and other IT groups.
  • Works with Desktop Support to help maintain endpoint lifecycles for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Works with Information Security to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and provides recommendations for improvement of endpoint management systems.
  • What qualifications you will need:

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience:

  • 2 years of experience required.
  • Experience in supporting Windows 10, MacOS, iOS, and Android systems in an enterprise environment.

    Experience with other Microsoft products and platforms including but not limited to Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, and Office 365.

    Familiarity with endpoint imaging systems including but not limited to MDT, Microsoft Autopilot, and Apple Configurator.

    Familiarity with centralized endpoint management systems such as Microsoft Intune and MobileIron.
  • Knowledge Skills, & Abilities:

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting, database management, SQL, Power BI, Python scripting, XML, Networking knowledge, Batch file scripting, Windows imaging & deployment, remote management, automation with various scripting tools and languages, mobile device management, basic programming principles and knowledge.

    Certificates such as A+, Network+, and MCSA a plus.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a cordial and friendly manner
  • Ability to work as part a team
  • Ability to effectively analyze technical problems and obtain quick and effective resolutions
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to maintain positive attitude while under pressure
