We are currently seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our Platform Software and Integration System (PSIS) team.
Partnering side by side with Sales Account Managers on high-value opportunities, you will be intimately involved in all pre-sales activities (discovery calls, product demos, technical presentations, proof-of-concepts, etc.) required to close the deal.
Post-close, you will entrench yourself in the project, ensuring its success while continuing to foster a lasting customer relationship that could lead to even greater opportunities.
Additionally, you will leverage your expertise to oversee all technical aspects that underpin large and complex tradeshows or events, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
And expect to leverage your breath of experience and depth of knowledge to develop engaging new content – articles, whitepapers, presentations, videos, etc.
The primary objectives of this position are to drive increased market share, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture Design:
•In partnership with Elo Regional Sales Manager and other sales teams, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets through the adoption of Elo solutions.
Technical Leadership:
•Manage escalations into Technical Support or Engineering (as required) for product defect issues and work jointly on resolutions.
•Maintain specialty competency in Elo’s hardware, software solutions, and tools/utilities.
•Participate in the technical execution of tradeshows, encompassing pre-show staging and testing as well as on-site setup and teardown.
•Provide support for sales samples, including all required prestaging tasks essential for successful sample use and evaluation.
•Designs and oversee the implementation of payment solutions, ensuring they align with business strategies and technical requirements
Customer Engagement:
•With comprehensive knowledge of Elo hardware and solutions, educate customers of all sizes on Elo’s value proposition while participating in discussions throughout the organization to ensure successful deployment and implementation of Elo solutions.
•Engage with customers, both onsite and remote, in a technical consultancy and advisor role during the pre-sales process while providing technical assistance and solution guidance.
•Build deep relationships with people within customer environments to enable them to be Elo advocates.
•Attend and present technical solutions and demonstrations at customer meetings and internal sessions with other company functions, as necessary.
Strategic Planning
•Serve as the customer advocate to other Elo teams, including Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
•Act as technical sales liaison to Product Management, Development and Engineering concerning product performance issues and manage escalations for product defect issues, working jointly on resolutions.
Problem Solving and Optimization:
•Create new content (articles, whitepapers, presentations, videos, etc.) in support of pre- and post-sales activities.
•Continuously improve your professional skills with a focus on personal mastery and team learning through activities such as training, reading, and seeking mentorship from others.

Minimum Qualifications:
•At least 2 years of experience with customer-facing technical pre-sales or as a professional in the areas of information technology, retail, hospitality, payments, hardware, or software.
•At least 1 year experience in Payment Solution Architect/Solution Engineer position.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or directly related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Knowledge of key operating systems including Android, iOS, Linux, and Windows.
•Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, peripherals, software applications, SDKs, and drivers.
•Knowledge of payment process including EMV certification and integration, PCI-DSS, and other relevant security standards.
•Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
•Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
•Experience with modern software development or operations and their associated technologies.

Physical Demands
