**Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer (Overhead Transmission Lines)**

**Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities**

POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer to work in its Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department in Columbus, Ohio.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.

**Required Education/Experience**

+ BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university
+ The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
+ Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite

**Desired Education/Experience**

+ Minimum 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA)
+ Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying
+ Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable
+ Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired

Base Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations.

Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.

This means that no two candidates are alike.

The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
