Hybrid:This role is categorized as hybrid.

This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Detroit Renaissance Center or Warren Global Technical Center three times per week, at minimum.

In this role you will support and coordinate with multiple facets of the General Motors global portfolio by crafting and implementing timely business solutions.

Finance - Accounting Analyst Development Rotational Program:

The Finance - Accounting Analyst Rotational Program consists of rotations within our Controllership organization.

During your program you will develop broad financial and accounting skills producing the next generation of Finance and Accounting leaders at General Motors.

As an analyst, you will collaborate with GM’s globally diverse organizations to assemble data, perform analyses, and present recommendations to leadership.

This is a rotational program that offers assignments in high visible areas of our Controllership function.

Analysts rotate on average every 12 months to different accounting functions.

Upon completion of the two-year developmental program, you will work with our leaders to join our broader Controllership team.

Accounting rotations may include the following:

Controllership rotations, within our Corporate and Automotive functions, will provide candidates with the work experience necessary towards acquiring a CPA license and may include consolidating and reporting company results, analyzing transactions for appropriate accounting treatment, and serving as a strategic business partner to increase transparency, improve efficiency, shorten decision cycle times, and reinforce financial integrity and accountability.
