**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to be based in the Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, and Des Moines, IA offices.
This position is expected to begin no later than January 2026.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Conduct all design-related activities under engineering supervision
+ Prepare engineering calculations, diagrams, sketches, and drawings
+ Utilize computer software as a tool for designing and solving engineering problems
+ Perform work in accordance with the allocated budget and schedule
+ Attend design review meetings, record minutes, and maintain action items
+ Research and apply related building codes, regulatory and industry standards
+ Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure timely project delivery
+ Perform surveys, create sketches, record dimensions, and analyze data collected
+ Perform construction administration tasks, including shop drawing review, site observations, and other requests for information
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
+ Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
+ Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit design software
+ Basic knowledge of electrical components and characteristics
+ Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills; articulate, assertive, confident
**Additional Information**
+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
+ Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available for this position.
+ Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
