**Job Title: Press Assistant and Feeder**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Press Assistant, supporting the Press Operator in our dynamic printing environment.

You will begin by catching and stacking large sheets, some weighing up to 50 lbs.

As you grow in the role, you will move to the feeding station to help set up programs, adjust measurements, and feed sheets into the press.

This role is a stepping stone to eventually becoming a Press Operator.

**Responsibilities**

+ Catch and stack sheets coming off the press, weighing up to 50 lbs.
+ Assist in lifting heavier sheets with help.
+ Move to the feeding station to set up programs and adjust measurements.
+ Feed sheets into the press.
+ Bring materials as needed to the Press Operator.
+ Assist the Press Operator in various tasks.
+ Train to eventually become a Press Operator.

**Essential Skills**

+ Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
+ Excellent mechanical aptitude.
+ Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
+ Ability to lift 40 lbs.
+ High attention to detail.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn the printing industry.
+ 6+ months of machine operation experience.
+ Experience with printing press, screen printing, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
+ Production and general labor experience.
+ Experience with hand tools, power tools, die cutting, blueprints, machining, and troubleshooting.

**Work Environment**

Our work environment is a clean, organized, and well-lit manufacturing setting.

While not a clean room, it is a clean light industrial space that is temperature-controlled.

The back areas are quiet and free from strong odors.

Our family-owned company operates with about 25 people on the first shift and 5 on the second shift, fostering a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of STILLWATER, Minnesota.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
