Job description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to enhance system functionality, improve reporting processes, and optimize business intelligence capabilities.

This position offers the opportunity to drive operational efficiency and deliver impactful solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders and process experts to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate non-technical requirements into technical specifications to ensure seamless implementation.
• Recommend system and process enhancements based on current business and technology knowledge.
• Develop and refine metrics and reports in partnership with departmental teams.
• Monitor and enhance business intelligence solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Evaluate and reconcile information from multiple sources to uncover unmet business requirements.
• Work closely with external vendors, including software providers and implementation partners, to deliver solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing for both existing and new systems and modules.
• Configure and manage system setups for business intelligence and related solutions.
• Analyze system activity to assess productivity, utilization, and quality trends.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related business specialty (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of functional experience with enterprise systems and custom reporting solutions.
• Expertise in configuring and setting up enterprise systems and related functional modules.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-wide business processes, including sales, finance, HR, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Proficiency in gathering integration requirements for business intelligence systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience designing and developing reports using tools like Crystal Reports or PowerBI.
• Familiarity with database or data warehouse technologies is a plus.
