Job Overview
DJG Insulation is hiring a detail-oriented Estimator / Take-Off Professional to join our growing Design & Technical team.

In this full-time, onsite role, you'll play a vital part in our construction and insulation projects by analyzing blueprints, calculating material needs, and preparing accurate project bids.

You'll work closely with project managers and sales staff to ensure that each project starts with a precise and well-documented scope.

Key Responsibilities-
Analyze construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to produce take-offs and estimates.-
Calculate quantities of insulation and other materials needed for various projects.-
Collaborate with project managers and sales staff to develop cost-effective bids and proposals.-
Prepare and submit detailed estimates and pricing documentation within required deadlines.-
Assist in updating and maintaining a database of pricing, vendor quotes, and material costs.-
Track and organize bid documents, RFIs, and scope of work clarifications.-
Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors for updated pricing and material availability.-
Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project goals.-
Assist in value engineering efforts and recommend cost-saving alternatives where appropriate.

Qualifications-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, take-offs, or construction-related fields.-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.-
Comfortable working with numbers and measurements.-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.-
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with estimating software is a plus.-
Ability to work independently and prioritize deadlines.
