About the Office of the Massachusetts State Treasurer and Receiver General (“Treasury”)

In this role, the intern will work closely with the Policy and Legislation team as well as the Communications and the Small Business Initiative teams.

Office Location: 24 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02133

Small Business Initiative Responsibilities:
  • Work with the SBI team on expanding and maintaining a database of community partner organizations by region and categories.
  • Help prepare documents for external meetings with community partner organizations, including but not limited to one-pager about Treasury’s Small Business Initiative, template emails to community partners.
  • Prepare research for SBI team as needed.
  • Aid SBI team with updating the online toolkit and weekly events and resources document.
  • Assist team in reviewing and confirming any resources’ contacts update and addresses that do not map successfully on MassGIS data platform.

  • Note taking during meetings.
  • Other duties as needed.
  • Qualifications
