Job description

B & K Services in Taylors, SC is looking to hire a full-time HVAC Dispatcher - Service Scheduler to schedule appointments for our HVAC technicians and perform general administrative duties.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC DISPATCHER - SERVICE SCHEDULER

As an HVAC Dispatcher - Service Scheduler, you oversee the scheduling and dispatching of our service technicians.

Each day, you take incoming customer calls to schedule and coordinate service jobs.

You listen intently to the customer's needs, so you can dispatch the right technician for the job.

Throughout the process, you keep customers updated about appointments and notify them of any change, track parts and warranty claims.

Once jobs are completed, you debrief our technicians and reach out to customers to ensure they're satisfied with the service they received.

You keep the office organized so our operations can continue running smoothly.

Always up to date, you maintain our customer database with current information and manage our maintenance agreements.

Our customers appreciate your efforts, and you find great satisfaction in knowing that you serve in such an important role with our company!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC DISPATCHER - SERVICE SCHEDULER

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service or dispatching
  • Computer savvy
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Time management and Positive attitude

Experience with the FieldEdge service management system would be a plus! Are you passionate about always providing great customer service?

Can you easily establish a good rapport with people?

Are you an excellent communicator both in-person and over the phone?

Can you effectively balance a variety of dispatching, scheduling, and other administrative tasks?

WORK SCHEDULE

This administrative office job can start as either part-time or full-time but will eventually transition to full-time.

Part-time schedule:

Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Full-time schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
