What You Will Do
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Depot Event Technical Analyst & Developer role on a high-visibility F135 Sustainment Integrated Fleet Support team that executes forecasting, powerplant engineering, and shop visit strategy.
The Depot Event Technical Analyst & Developer analyses all event data details to support forecasting, planning and shop visit cost reduction.
Auditing and collection of depot shop visit maintenance event cost in appropriate tools throughout the shop visit event data life cycle
Development and execution of a standard F135 Enterprise analysis multiparadigm methodology for calculating depot shop visit cost, down to the part level
Digital strategy integration: data product & tool development, including shop visit cost data product & tool release plans
Process & stakeholder integration across F135 enterprise to support business case-supported management of shop visit cost drivers
Leveraging Weibulls and other statistical models to develop discrete analysis as needed to find leading indicators which will affect shop visit maintenance cost, and predict future primary & secondary drivers of shop visit cost
Mining of data from Maintenix (via SAP Business objects, Maintenix front end or Maintenix back end), SAP, Databricks, Hawkeye, and other sources
Travel 10% (Domestic & International)
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree
8 years of aerospace, logistics, or maintenance experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of aerospace, logistics, or maintenance experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace Logistics, or equivalent
F135, F117 or other P&W Military or Commercial Engines logistics experience; demonstrated skills and proficiency in Powerplant Engineering processes
Familiar with engine overhaul & repair processes, engine hardware, assembly, operation, and testing
Experience in cost planning and tracking across maintenance repair systems
