Job Description Job Description Field Service Engineer - Machine Tools Field Service Engineer - Machine Tools Location: Remote - CA, WA, & MO Salary: $80k-$130k DOE Requirements: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Related Engineering, 3 yrs exp in Field Service Engineering, Knowledge and experience with Machine Tools/CNC Machines Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer specializing in machine tools to provide on-site technical support, equipment calibration, and maintenance for our clients.
The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance of CNC machinery and enhance customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machinery and machine tools.
Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure precision performance and compliance with specifications.
Deliver technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of the machinery.
Assist with the installation and upgrade of equipment, ensuring all systems are operational and meet industry standards.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and calibrations performed.
Collaborate with engineering teams to address complex technical issues and implement solutions.
Qualifications BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3 years experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably in Machine tools and CNC equipment.
Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, PLC programming, and equipment calibration.
Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.
Familiarity with Fanuc systems and automation solutions is a plus.
