Job description

Position Overview:

This position will be located at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our hospital finance team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and a proven track record of financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning within a hospital or healthcare setting.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making and financial performance improvement.
The work schedule is hybrid and requires 3 days per week onsite; 2 days offsite.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree : A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is often a minimum requirement.

    This provides a foundational understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and business concepts.

  • Master's Degree (Optional) : While not always required, having a master's degree can enhance your qualifications and competitiveness for senior-level positions.

    Relevant certifications for senior financial analysts in hospital finance may include:

    Pay Range is $59.82 to $89.73 / hour

    The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.

    This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

    Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.

    Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health.

    Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
