As well as employees-based UK wide within Customer sites.</p><p style="text-align: start"><p style="text-align: start">An exciting new vacancy has arisen aligned to the continued growth of our Company for the role of:</p><p style="text-align: start"><p style="text-align: start"><strong>FITTER/TESTER</strong></p><p style="text-align: start"><strong>Workshop - ELLAND - 4 Day working week - working compressed hours Monday - Thursday</strong></p><p style="text-align: start"><p style="text-align: start"><strong>Requirements:</strong> The main duties of this role are to undertake assembly, testing, instrumentation, and associated tasks related to Valves & Controls to a high standard.
Additionally, the role involves ensuring Health & Safety standards, driving 6S standards, updating matrices data daily, improving quality and customer satisfaction, maintaining operational logs, adhering to SOPs, solving problems, being flexible, sharing knowledge, checking test equipment, performing valve tests, interfacing with inspectors, inputting test data, and ensuring compliance with safety rules.</p><p style="text-align: start"><p style="text-align: start"><strong>Essential Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Valve instrumentation</p></li><li><p>Piping</p></li><li><p>Calibration of positioners</p></li><li><p>Actuator setting</p></li><li><p>Function testing</p></li><li><p>Hysteresis and deadband testing</p></li></ul><p style="text-align: start"><strong>Take a look at our extremely competitive benefits offering!!!!</strong></p><ul><li><p>4 Day working week - working compressed hours Monday - Thursday</p></li><li><p>33 days annual leave including Bank Holidays (pro rata)</p></li><li><p>Holiday Buy Scheme - Purchase up to 5 days extra annual leave with equal monthly payroll deductions </p></li><li><p>Pension Scheme - Up to 8% employer contributions </p></li><li><p>Enhanced Company Sick Pay </p></li><li><p>Life Assurance - 2 x annual salary if not in the pension scheme, 4 x salary if a member of the pension scheme.
