Position: FLETC Quality Control Manager

Location: Glynco, GA

Position Type: Full time

Travel: Minimal

**Contingent upon award**

Position Summary:

The QC Manager implements and oversees the contract quality control program, conducts inspections, responds to deficiencies, and ensures corrective actions and compliance with PWS, PRS, and COR requirements.

This position is distinct from PM/APM and reports directly to the contractor's corporate office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

These services are required to support unique efforts which may require:
• Maintain and implement QCP (PWS 6.1)
• Perform inspections of all contract deliverables
• Initiate/review corrective actions, maintain inspection records
• Interface with COR/CO on inspections and findings
• Ensure completion/archiving of government-required records

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Three (3) years recent quality control management experience
• Prior QC experience on contracts of comparable size and complexity
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards
• U.S. Citizenship
• Documented familiarity with commercial QC plans
• Excellent organizational, data, and reporting skills
• English proficiency (see above)
• U.S. citizenship or authorized residency
• Conflict-free, professional, independent from daily site management

Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write.

The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms.

The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
