**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled **Migration Specialist** to lead and support the migration of workloads into our public cloud spaces.
This role requires strong project planning capabilities, effective communication with application teams, and a deep understanding of observability and reporting tools to ensure successful and transparent migrations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Plan and execute workload migration projects from on-premises or other cloud environments into AWS.
+ Collaborate with application owners and technical teams to assess readiness, define migration strategies, and coordinate execution.
+ Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, timelines, and risk assessments.
+ Ensure observability of migrated workloads using AWS-native and third-party monitoring tools.
+ Implement reporting mechanisms to track migration progress, performance, and post-migration health.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
+ Document migration processes and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of experience in cloud migration, with a focus on AWS.
+ Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
+ Proven experience in project planning and execution in complex environments.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Familiarity with observability tools.
+ Experience with reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
**Preferred Certifications:**
+ AWS related certifications
The pay range for this position is $47.30 to $80.96 per hour.
**Washington Applicants Only:** Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
