Foreman Traffic Control Job Opening In Ocoee – Now Hiring PRIME Traffic Control

Job description 

MOT/TTC (Maintenance of Traffic/Temporary Traffic Control) - Foreman/Crew Lead
 
 
Growing company, looking for dependable employee who is seeking a company home that allows for growth and security.
 
 
Work includes, but is not limited to, flagging traffic.
 
 
Salary:
 
 

  • $17.00/hr.(straight time – first 40 hrs./week)

  • $19.00/hr.

    (after 90 days)

  • Hourly rate x 1.5 for Overtime (any hours over 40 hrs./week)

  • Typically work 5 ten-hour days plus applicable drive time (any driving to/from the work location over 1hr each way).

Per diem paid at $25/night (for overnight stays only - if needed.

- Company pays for hotels directly.

Try to keep staff in decent hotels (Hampton Inn/Residence in Type).

    This program is designed to enhance our team's skills in traffic management and site supervision.

One of the key perks of this program is that participants will be guaranteed 10 hours of work for every day they work during the training.


 



REQUIREMENTS:
 
 

  • FDOT TEMPOROARY TRAFFIC CONTROL - ADVANCED COURSE Certified.

  • At least 1 year of working Traffic Control.

    Must have valid Florida driver's license.

  •  Candidates must have a clean driving record to qualify for this position.

    This requirement is crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

  • Must be willing to pick up and drop off team members before/after work if needed.

  • Must be willing and able to stand outside for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to pick up 50 pounds safely.

  • Employees may be asked to travel for overnight stays within the State of Florida.

  • Work to keep and maintain a good attitude of learning the work and supporting the team.

  • PRIME Traffic Control is a drug free workplace.

    Must be willing to submit and pass drug/alcohol testing/screenings.

  • Must not have any felony convictions in the last 5 years.

  • Must be willing and able to absorb and understand safety training and subsequent standards and follow them - keeping you, your team and the general public SAFE.

  • Setting up signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, message boards, etc.
