Alabama State University, College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Department of Physical and Forensic Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Forensic Science.
The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses, train graduate students in specialized areas of research and contribute to the overall success of the BS and MS degree programs and the department through academic citizenship and community services as well as research endeavors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruct, train and mentor graduate students in forensic scienceTeach and develop courses relevant to the needs of the departmentContribute professionally to the growth, visibility and competitive preparation of all graduates especially those in in the programEstablish research productivity and obtain extramural funding to sustain his/her investigations-based research agenda within expected time frames following appointment Ph.D. in Forensic Science or closely related field.
