**Forklift Operator/Material Handler**
**Pay: $21.00 per hour**
**Hours: “Shift: Day shift (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM), subject to change to 2nd or night shift depending on operational needs.”**
**Summary**
The Truck to Truck (Forklift) Technician is responsible for safely moving and positioning containers of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials using a forklift.
This position supports the flow of materials between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations while ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment that supports operational efficiency.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operates a forklift to offload, palletize, reload, and move containers of waste materials.
+ Coordinates material loads between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations.
+ Ensures transportation efficiency and compliance with all storage and environmental permits.
+ Dispatches transportation from hubs and assists in maintaining outbound schedules.
+ Tracks manifest return timelines and maintains all required shipping documentation.
+ Updates and manages data in Hub Database, Outlook, and Hub Management systems.
+ Performs other duties as assigned to support facility safety and operational goals.
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ 0–3 years of forklift or material handling experience preferred.
+ Forklift training or certification required.
+ Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb on/off forklifts, and safely move heavy drums or bins.
+ Good hand-eye coordination and corrected or uncorrected 20/20 vision (depth perception critical).
+ Must be comfortable working in a loud industrial environment with proper PPE.
+ Less than 10% travel required.
