Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary
of Delta Air Lines, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **FlightOperations Support Planner** to provide key logistical support for DPS
clients external to Delta Air Lines.
This part-time position plays a critical
role in coordinating simulator training events, ensuring compliance with FAA
regulations and client-specific requirements, and maintaining accurate training
records.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a solid
understanding of flight operations and scheduling systems.
+ Coordinateand assign simulator training events for client students.
+ Notifyand schedule pilot instructors for assigned training sessions.
+ Resolvescheduling conflicts and implement last-minute changes as needed.
+ UtilizeDelta’s scheduling tools to accurately document training events.
+ Collaboratewith Program Managers to develop class schedules based on simulator andinstructor availability.
+ Communicatesimulator availability and assignments with external partners.
+ Liaisewith Delta Flight Operations Planning Team to ensure simulatoravailability aligns with training needs.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Familiaritywith Flight Operations and FAA regulations.
+ Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
+ Abilityto quickly learn and navigate internal systems such as Delta’s DBMS,SIMON, and other DPS tools.
+ Effectivecollaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Excellentverbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and otherrelevant software platforms
+ Providescheduling support to other DPS planners as needed.
+ Identify and implement process improvements toenhance operational efficiencyConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
