Front Desk/Administrative Assistant


KBR’s Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of Defense, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support.

KBR is seeking a Front Desk/Administrative Assistant to support the Mission Engineering Division in Orlando, Florida.

In this role, you will assist and account for a variety of tasks involving facilities, administrative support, and procurement-related duties.

This role involves working independently, carrying out assignments to completion with minimum instruction and supervision.

This is a full-time on-site position.


Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Manage the front desk, including greeting and in-processing visitors, managing conference room scheduling, receiving, and coordinating shipping.



+ Support the day-to-day business process and operations of the office.



+ Manage office by improving and organizing office operations and procedures.



+ Manage the purchasing card for obtaining supplies and assist with procurement-related duties.



+ Maintain close liaison with facility management, contractors, and subcontractors.

Schedule and coordinate various facility inspections and services.



+ Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Ability to assist and work on multiple projects and priorities.

Must be detail-oriented and able to work with large amounts of data.

Must be able to provide excellent customer service and creatively solve problems.


Basic Qualifications:

+ Education & experience: At minimum, a HS diploma plus 6 or more years of related experience.



+ Clearance: Must have a Secret Clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.



+ Software: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.


Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experienced in Department of Defense (DoD) duties involving purchase requisitions and facility coordination.



+ AA/AS Degree
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours
