**Who you’ll report to:**

Director of Engineering, AI Agent Studio

**Location:**

Hybrid role with regular onsite workdays in our San Jose, CA office strongly preferred.

Other locations in the U.S may be considered.

**You will make an impact by being responsible for:**

+ Developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and performance-oriented UI components and features using modern front-end technologies like React.

Focusing on consistent delivery of software and systems that move the company towards achieving short and long-term objectives
+ Working closely with Product Management, UX, Backend Engineers, SDET and Support organizations to deliver industry-leading features to the market.

Translate requirements into technical solutions and seamless user experiences
+ Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in UI development.

Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
+ Driving the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance development efficiency and UI performance
+ Optimizing UI components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
+ Ensuring the UI complies with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and adhere to company design guidelines
+ Providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and share knowledge across teams to foster a culture of learning and improvement

**You will be a great fit if you have:**

+ 7+ years of professional experience in front-end/UI development, with a strong portfolio of work.
+ Deep Understanding of Web UI, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
+ Deep understanding of React
+ Strong understanding of the E2E request/response cycle between client and server (HTTP, Server side, browser internals) for delivering blazing-fast, high-performance applications
+ Great understanding of CSS / SCSS
+ Good understanding of ECMAScript and TypeScript
+ Experience with build tools like Webpack and testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress
+ Cross-browser scalability & compatibility in multiple browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox
+ Ability to build responsive, and accessibility-compliant applications (i.e. WCAG)

**Bonus Skills:**

+ Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) platforms or automation tools
+ Experience evaluating and implementing component libraries
+ Familiarity with backend technologies
+ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
+ Understanding how to write code with the help of AI
+ Global State Management, e.g., Redux, MobX, etc

+ Strong collaboration and communication skills – Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX, Backend Engineering, QA, and Support
+ Technical mentorship and leadership – Experience guiding junior engineers and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement
+ Analytical thinking and problem-solving – Skilled in breaking down complex challenges and delivering efficient, scalable solutions
+ Adaptability and eagerness to learn – Comfortable adopting new tools, frameworks, and technologies in a fast-evolving tech landscape
+ Attention to detail and quality focus – Committed to writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring compliance with performance, accessibility, and design standards

The base salary range for this position is $185,000 - $205,000 a year.

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
