Frontend Software Engineer

About the Team

The ECS Frontend team develops innovative asynchronous communication and event-scheduling solutions to help businesses engage more effectively with their customers and deliver outstanding user experiences.

As a cornerstone of the Zoom Workspace ecosystem, ECS applications power seamless collaboration, helping millions of users connect, communicate, and thrive.




Responsibilities
+ Developing and maintain enterprise web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.
+ Building automated tests (unit and end-to-end) using frameworks such as Vitest or Jest.
+ Collaborating with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and contribute to simple system design.
+ Working closely with other engineers across the company to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
+ Taking ownership of tasks and work independently with guidance from senior team members when needed.




What we’re looking for
+ Possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
+ Possess 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, ReactJS or Vue framework and CSS.
+ Possess experience with Jest or Vitest for testing.
+ Possess experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
+ Possess experience with Python and an understanding of at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, C++, etc.).






Salary Range or On Target Earnings:


Minimum:
$87,600.00

Maximum:
$186,000.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.




Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.




We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
