Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER, Position Description Number D2427000 and is part of the 109TH AW, National Guard.

This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.

Responsibilities As a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER, WG-5413-09, you will manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) which consists of operations and maintenance of a fuel distribution system that includes a fuels laboratory, cryogenic storage, bulk storage, base service station, fuels information service center, mobile fueling operations and the financial account management for missile propellants, aviation fuels, ground fuels and cryogenics utilized in support of aircraft, motor vehicles, engine test cells, powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), generators and heating systems required to support the Wing mission and transient aircraft.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and to safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 18 months experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling fuel systems and components.

Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.
