**The Opportunity:**
CACI is currently looking for an AI/ML Developer with agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia!

As a member of the BEAGLE ASF Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity.

CBP agents and officers are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

ASF programs thrive in a culture of innovation and are constantly seeking individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural at the team and portfolio levels.

The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.

You should have worked with or have a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints.

**Responsibilities:**

The ideal candidate will excel at developing innovative software solutions as part of a technically diverse and geographically disbursed team.

They will have Full stack development experience with expertise in multiple programming languages, proficiency with cloud services (Azure and AWS), understand API development and management, experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, and possess a comprehensive knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.

A strong passion for AI technologies and experience and experience with agile delivery and deploying software in short sprints are highly desired.

**Qualifications:**
**_Required:_**

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include, but not limited to:
+ 3-year check for felony convictions
+ 1-year check for illegal drug use
+ 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud

+ BA/BS and 5 years’ experience in a related field, or equivalent
+ Ability to analyze technically complex problems and develop and implement new and innovative solutions in a fast-moving and fluid software prototyping development environment.
+ Expertise in multiple software developer languages including, but not limited to: YAML, JSON, Python, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript.
+ Full Stack development experience including proficiency in both front-end (Angular) and back-end development, ability to handle all aspects of a web application from designing the user interface to managing the server and database.
+ Ability to work with Data Scientist teams to integrate applications with AI/ML, Big Data, or BI solutions.
+ Ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction and management oversight.
+ Must be available to work a hybrid schedule in Ashburn, VA

**_Desired:_**

+ Experience working with live data and video streams.
+ Technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate.
+ Experience with DevOps (CICD) solutions such as GitLab.
+ Experience with AI/ML solutions or complex solutions for predictive analytics.
+ Experience working in a geographically dispersed, remote team.
+ Understanding of Data Science principles and best practices.

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
