Are you an experienced engineer with deep expertise in rotor dynamics and transient analysis for aerospace turbomachinery?
At **PDS Tech Commercial** , we’re hiring a **Gas Turbine Engine Rotor Dynamics & System/Transient Dynamics Engineer** to support the design, development, and analysis of propulsion engines and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs).
This is a high-impact role where your technical leadership will drive innovation and ensure compliance across complex systems.
**Your Impact**
You’ll lead rotor dynamics and system/transient dynamics analyses, support design reviews, and collaborate across global engineering teams.
You’ll contribute to product development, compliance, and risk management while mentoring junior engineers and driving process improvements.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Conduct rotor dynamics and transient system analyses for aerospace turbomachinery
+ Perform design and analysis using complex finite element methods (ANSYS or NASTRAN)
+ Validate requirements and ensure project and product compliance
+ Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
+ Provide technical oversight and guidance across global teams
+ Communicate technical findings through reports and presentations
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones
+ Contribute to process development and continuous improvement initiatives
**What You Bring**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in rotor dynamics and transient analysis for aerospace turbomachinery
+ Proficiency in rotor dynamics, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, and crack growth analyses
+ Strong working knowledge of ANSYS or NASTRAN and classical hand calculation methods
+ Excellent communication skills for technical reporting and presentations
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with new product development in regulated environments
+ Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Experience operating in a matrix organization
+ Proven track record of successful contributions to complex projects

**Pay Details:** $52.71 per hour
