What impact you’ll make

As an Intern on the Power Conversion & Storage (PCS) Engineering team, you will support PCS as we work with internal and external customers to provide best in class technical project proposals and operation manuals to meet customer’s needs and requirements.

This role serves as interface with GE Vernova branded AI solutions, current application engineers, design engineers, and leadership to develop tools to help respond to customer request for proposal (RFP) or information (RFI) and project fulfillment using GE Vernova products in the solar, battery energy storage and hybrid power plants arena.

**Job Description**

**What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)**

+ Manage the data flow and infrastructure for effective AI deployment for use with RFPs, RFIs, and Customer Facing Documents
+ Review past customer documentation for relevant content to be used by AI tools
+ Identify and develop data collection, document formatting and template generation to be used by an AI tool for faster RFP/RFI response.
+ Work closely with our AI Research Technology team to identify critical data needed to tune the AI tool
+ Work closely with Engineers to identify fill in data values and current standards which meet customer requests to be used by the AI tool
+ Test and program AI tool and ensure existing content matches new incoming RFP and RFI questions
+ Work to develop document delivery system for transmittal and track from engineering teams to end customers
+ Work with other leaders to share knowledge on how to utilize AI tools for their needs

**What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)**

+ Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university
+ Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program
+ Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships 
+ Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
+ Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
+ Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $36.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed

This position is also eligible for:

+ **Relocation Assistance:** Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment.

Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
+ **Housing Allowance:** Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
+ Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services
+ GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans.

(Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
