Role:
The Business Development professional will drive growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's client base.
This role requires a mix of market research, relationship-building, and strategic planning to help scale the business and maximize revenue opportunities.
The Business Development team member will work closely with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to align growth initiatives with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and positioning.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnership arrangements.
Track and report on sales pipeline, performance metrics, and business growth initiatives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products or services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in tech or aerospace sectors.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and execute plans effectively.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Familiarity with the drone industry or emerging technologies is a plus.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
