  Responsibilities  
  
+  The selected candidate will be responsible for providing direction and oversight throughout the design, review, construction, testing and implementation of the New Fare Payment System (NFPS), as it pertains to the fare collection system maintenance for NYCT.
Directs the process and ensures all division stakeholders’ requirements are adequately addressed.
Manages the maintenance transition from MetroCard to the various NFPS components.
Responsibilities also include quality assurance and ongoing system oversight of the legacy AFC system, including the management of all process reviews and system audits pertaining to the design, test, installation and maintenance of the legacy AFC system and sub-components.
Ensure maintenance forces are properly trained and equipped for the ongoing transition.
Serves as the lead for the division in EAM project implementation.
  
  
+    The incumbent will also manage the development of a multidisciplinary analytics approach to the review and use of available data, dashboard creations, and the generation of comprehensive reports and field equipment audits for NFPS and the legacy AFC system.
Responsible for the daily analysis of equipment performance to identify areas of concern, in order to ensure compliance with internal operating procedures, industry standards and specifications.
Manages the development of comprehensive maintenance procedures and field audits for NFPS and the legacy AFC system; and utilizes them to monitor maintenance services performed by in-house and contractor personnel.
  
  
+  Investigates equipment/component failures and establishes test criteria for replacement parts.
Develops internal protocols for documenting issues, while managing the resolution process for each item throughout the closure process.
  
  Education and Experience  
  
 A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in business administration, or a closely related field of study, and 10 years of full-time related experience, which includes 7 years of managerial/supervisory/administrative experience; Or A satisfactory combination of education and experience.
