(CEC), we’re looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join our growing team in Charleston, WV.

You’ll work on a wide range of projects across the real estate, oil & gas, and public infrastructure sectors—delivering geotechnical solutions that shape communities and support critical development.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and execute geotechnical subsurface investigations.
  • Coordinate and monitor field drilling and sampling operations.
  • Prepare boring logs and develop laboratory testing programs.
  • Analyze lab data and perform geotechnical design calculations.
  • Prepare technical reports and foundation recommendations.
  • Provide design input for:Building foundationsCut and fill slopes Retaining wallsLandslide remediationRoadway rehabilitation
  • Oversee construction materials testing services, including:EarthworkConcreteFoundationsMasonryPavement testing
  • Supervise and mentor technical staff and field personnel.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of geotechnical experience, preferably in a consulting environment.

    in Civil Engineering or Geology (.

  • Engineer-In-Training ( certification required.
  • Ability to obtain a Professional Engineering ( license (if not already licensed).
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
