The AWS Global Sales (AGS) GTM Strategy Team works closely with internal business leaders to glean their knowledge, incorporate data and information from external sources, and develop our own insights to architect worldwide short- and long-term GTM strategies.

We are Global GTM Strategy Lead to create worldwide GTM strategies and cascade those strategies into our Geographies and Business Units.

The ideal candidate listens first and brings humility to conversations with senior AWS Leaders and the senior leadership of our customers.

They collaborate effectively, working with a small team on big things.

The candidate knows when and where to advocate vigorously for a well-informed position.

Key job responsibilities
• Architect GTM strategies for AGS
• Cascade worldwide strategies to AGS Geos and Business Units, supporting local adaptation as needed
• Partner across other functions within AWS to ensure our strategies align
• Develop relationships with internal and external senior leaders across AWS to gain and share strategic insights
• Work with data science teams to develop comprehensive data analyses
• Provide comprehensive analysis and recommendations for business decisions

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, or working in strategic capacities at Fortune 500 companies
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Excellent cross group collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or other advanced degree
• Understanding of cloud computing and the tech industry
• Experience working in a global role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $143,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $237,100/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
