Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design.

  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).


Preferred qualifications



  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience developing UX patterns, components, and interaction frameworks by working across multiple designers and researchers.

  • Experience collaborating with product managers, researchers, engineers, and other members of the UX team to strategize and design user journeys.

  • Ability to influence designers working on disparate products to drive key design flows, behaviors, and logic focused on bringing cohesion across the experiences.

  • Ability to translate abstract concepts into experiences using skills in motion design and UX prototyping.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with other leads to form a cohesive offering across Google products.

  • Work across programs to define, maintain, and evolve the tools, processes, and communication around asset management.

  • Leverage principal contributors to explore concept development to influence product, point-of-view around visual style, and product commitments.

  • Defend Google products and brand promise.

  • Partner with visual programs within the organization to evolve and apply new design styles and aesthetics for products.
