**Job Title: Grader Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Grader Operator to join our team at a steel mill in Decatur, AL.
This role involves operating heavy equipment to grade and maintain the steel landfill area on-site.
The position is primarily outdoors in a hot, dirty, and active manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate grader equipment to level and maintain landfill areas used for steel byproducts.
+ Drive and maneuver equipment safely across uneven terrain within the facility.
+ Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of the grader.
+ Work closely with site supervisors to ensure grading meets operational standards.
+ Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous experience operating a grader or similar heavy equipment.
+ Ability to work in hot, dusty, and physically demanding outdoor conditions.
+ Strong attention to safety and detail.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Reliable transportation to and from the Decatur site.
+ Must be able to work 40–50 hours per week, starting at 6:30 AM.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trinity, Alabama.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
