Grants and Contracts Administrator Job Opening In Los Angeles – Now Hiring Genetec

Purpose:

Genetec’s unified solution includes a comprehensive range of products that help agencies across Public Sector verticals meet their operational goals and workflows.

The Grants and Contracts Office assists in finding funding and alternative venues for the procurement of Genetec solutions.

The Grants and Contracts Administrator’s primary responsibility is the successful execution, maintenance, and compliance of Genetec's National Cooperative and State, Local, and Education (SLED) contracts.

This position supports contract administration tasks, government procurement registrations, reseller enablement, and overall contract lifecycle management.

Your day at a glance:

  • Register and maintain Genetec’s profile in State and Cooperative procurement systems (State, Local, Cooperative, and grant-related platforms)
  • Upload and update required documentation, including licenses, certifications, insurance, and other compliance records
  • Ensure transparency of contract information and pricing updates on the Genetec website
  • Work with marketing/web team on development of/updates to dedicated Contracts and Grants web pages
  • Support required price list updates, uploads, and version control per individual contract requirements
  • Maintain complete and accurate digital and physical contract files to support internal and external audits
  • Assist with and prepare for annual on-site contract progress meetings and site visits with lead agencies and cooperative purchasing administrators
  • Process and track Channel Partner additions in accordance with contract terms and procedures
  • Assist with onboarding and provide contract overview documentation as needed
  • Respond to day-to-day requests from internal sales teams and external Channel Partners
  • Assist with the collection and auditing of Channel Partner sales reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms
  • Reconcile administrative fees to ensure timely and accurate reseller partner payments to the contract vehicle
  • Provide cursory legal and compliance review of RFXs (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) to assess alignment with business, legal, and financial requirements
  • Support initial GO/NO-GO decisions when requested by the strategic capture or leadership team
  • Become familiar with the larger grant programs friendly to Genetec technology
  • Attend meetings with Channel Partners/End Users as requested; follow up with summary documentation, action items list
  • Send correspondence to Channel Partners/End Users on a regular cadence following meetings, receipt of reports to keep projects on track
  • Email communications to specific verticals with news of grant openings and other important information
  • Assist with the design and development of streamlined tracking tools for grants and contracts data

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 
  • Experience with CRM is a plus; must be willing to learn this program
