About ERA
Equal Rights Advocates (ERA) is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit organization that fights for gender justice.

For 50 years, ERA has led the country in protecting and expanding economic and educational access and opportunities for women, girls, and gender-expansive people.

Through litigation, policy advocacy, and public education, our work advances gender, racial, and economic equity.
Project Overview ERA is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer or Design Team to produce a suite of digital and print materials for our 52nd Annual Gala Luncheon, which will take place in San Francisco in May 2026.

The Designer(s) will closely consult with members of ERA’s staff to produce a cohesive and exciting design theme that will be executed through a variety of digital materials promoting the event, print materials to be displayed at the event, and more.

The final results should complement event program content to inspire attendees to donate and renew their commitment to ERA and the gender justice movement.
Scope of Work Creative Concept : Following a consultation meeting with ERA team members, designer(s) should present 2-3 creative concepts for ERA to choose from for the event branding.

Concepts should complement -- but not directly reflect -- the organizations brand identity.
Digital Promotional Materials : Designer(s) will produce digital promo designs sized for a variety of online platforms including ERA’s website, event microsite, social media, and e-newsletters.

ERA will provide sizing requirements and will post the materials online when they’re complete.

Social media content should include video versions of some designs, which may consist of animating elements of existing designs.
Print/Live Materials : In line with digital design themes, Designer(s) will produce 2 program presentations that will be projected onto large screens before and during the event, in addition to print materials.

Print materials include approximately 5 foamboard designs and a program booklet/pamphlet.
Content Integration : Designer(s) should incorporate images/photos and text provided by ERA into digital and print deliverables, such as speaker photos and written copy.
Revisions : Designer(s) will collaborate with ERA to make revisions and adjustments as needed, typically consisting of 1-2 rounds of feedback/approvals per deliverable.
Final Deliverables : Designer(s) will provide all files in the required formats.
