Graphic Designer Job at Ecoversity LLC in Denver

Job description

Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $25 - $45/hour (based on experience)
Position Type: Freelance-to-Hire

Who We Are:

There was a time when all of us—every ancestor, every lineage—lived in kinship with the earth.

We drank from her rivers, her veins of life.

We lived as one body.

The earth nourished us in ways both seen and unseen.

And we, her children, gave back in song, in ceremony, in gratitude.

Now, we find ourselves in a time of forgetting—not from malice, but from the noise of a world grown hurried and hollow.

The rhythms of the earth remain, but many of us have grown distant from them.

What our times long for—what we ache to reclaim—is that sense of connection: with ourselves, with each other, and with the living systems that make life possible.

As a nature-based education platform, Ecoversity exists to empower individuals with the tools, skills, and relationships they need to thrive in today’s world, while honoring the living systems that hold life together.

We are a school to remember.

By blending practical, career-oriented training with learning rooted in community and connection, we are building an elevated model of education—one that touches both the heart and the hands.

Ecoversity is a bridge between the fractured and the whole, the sacred and the practical, the forgotten and the remembered—a place where learning becomes healing, and every person is a steward, a protector, and a co-creator of the story we are writing together.

What You'll Do

As a Freelance Graphic Designer, you will join our growing creative team, working to visually shape Ecoversity’s story and bring our mission to life.

You’ll start with our upcoming Herbalism Campaign — a celebration of plants, tradition, and community — and will continue contributing to other key initiatives.

Your work will elevate our courses, marketing materials, and overall brand presence through intentional, meaningful design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to design captivating visuals for the Herbalism Campaign and other projects.
  • Develop materials across multiple platforms, including social media, web, email campaigns, and print collateral.
  • Create visually engaging graphics that align with Ecoversity’s earth-centered and inclusive mission.
  • Adapt designs to meet the needs of varying audiences, including students, educators, and partners.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas that honor Ecoversity’s message and aesthetic.
  • Ensure all design deliverables are completed on time and meet project goals.

This Is For You If

You love plants and care about how we treat her.

You revere the wisdom of elders and those who have walked this path before us, honoring their knowledge and traditions.

  • You’re sensitive to cross-cultural conversations, ensuring diverse perspectives are treated with respect and care.
  • You’re equally enchanted by plants as you are Canva (you’re that kind of design wizard).
  • You geek out on organization, and you secretly believe spreadsheets hold the key to world peace.
  • You love being 5 minutes early (because being on time is just too stressful).
  • You prefer picking up the phone to solve problems instead of waiting for emails to bounce around.
  • You’re looking for a team that genuinely cares—a group of people working together in a precious moment on Earth to make a difference.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, marketing, content creation, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Asana, Kajabi, Later, Google Suite, and AI tools like ChatGPT (or similar platforms).
  • Exceptional attention to detail—you catch the things others miss—and you take constructive feedback like a champ, turning it into even better ideas.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a knack for managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A creative thinker with a collaborative mindset, eager to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • A genuine passion for regenerative practices, sustainability, and education, reflected in your work.

Why Join Us?

This isn’t just a gig—it’s a chance to grow with us.

As a freelance role with a work-to-hire potential, this is your opportunity to be part of something meaningful.

You’ll work alongside a passionate team dedicated to learning, healing, and building a more connected world.
