Job description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team.

This role demands a highly creative, detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills who can manage multiple projects efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, excellent layout and typography skills, and the ability to transform complex ideas into clear, compelling visual content.

This is a part-time, on-call position based in the Philadelphia, PA area.

While much of the work can be done remotely, the candidate must be local and available to come into the office occasionally (approximately 10% of the time) for tasks such as printing posters and preparing materials.

Job could turn to Full time, depending on Contract work.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Design and produce a variety of visual materials to support engineering, logistics, Naval, FAA, DOT, and Corporate communications.

Design and produce materials for print and digital use, including brochures, presentations, posters, and conference materials, video, social media, logos, infographics,, technical diagrams, and other visual assets.
+ Support presentation and briefing material development in PowerPoint.
+ Create Inteactive PDFs in InDesign, in addition to After Effects motion graphics knowledge.
+ Review and ensure all work (creative and technical) is accurate and approved prior to submission.
+ Maintain and organize a comprehensive digital asset library.
+ Manage and order design-related materials and supplies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical concepts into effective visual designs.
+ Ensure brand consistency and alignment with project goals across all media.
+ Maintain an organized digital file management system.
+ Participate in the proofing process to ensure all materials are accurate and on-brand before final execution.
+ Apply strong knowledge of print design fundamentals and production processes, including preparing files for web or print, preflighting, and output.
+ Mock up professional-level presentations and marketing materials.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage production timelines and quality, ensuring deliverables meet specifications (time, quality, and cost).
+ Communicate effectively and professionally, accepting and applying constructive feedback.

Required Qualifications

+ **Bachelor’s degree** in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field required.
+ **3-7 years of professional experience** in graphic design or a related field.
+ Expert skills in **Adobe Creative Suite** , including:
+ **InDesign**
+ **Photoshop**
+ **Illustrator**
+ **After Effects**
+ Strong understanding of layout, composition, color theory, and typography.
+ Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, with MINIMAL guidance/direction.
+ Experience creating visuals for both print and digital platforms.
+ Expert-level skills in **Microsoft PowerPoint a MUST!**
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
+ Experience with **interactive PDF design** is essential.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.
+ Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain an interim clearance.

Desired Qualifications

+ Illustration skills (digital or traditional).
+ Experience working in a technical or government/DoD environment.
+ Familiarity with file and content management systems.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.

The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status.

For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.

While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
