Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

The primary purpose of the role is to is development and assurance of business cases for presentation to ELT, Committee and Ministers.

Note: Preference will be given to Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Wahi Ora candidates.

Mōu | About you

In this role you will lead, develop and maintain Business Case standards and provide assurance and support for business case development at regional level, including development of supporting guidance and material for business cases.

You will be a highly motivated and visible leader who can demonstrate leadership & experience in managing diverse functions and teams to maximise the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve the organisation's vision, purpose and goals, and manage teams spread across wide geographical boundaries, as well as managing a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Formal BBC Practitioner (desired) and relevant qualification
  • Strong stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in leading the development of business cases for large scale/complex investments, including assurance and support for business case development at a regional level
  • Experience within state sector decision making on major investments
  • Understanding of machinery of government guidance and requirements for decision making
