BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. Regular and predictable attendance is required. 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and coursework in Control Systems or Guidance, Navigation and Control System design.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is actively recruiting for a Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer to join the team.
Client is growing in the area of aircraft, missile, weapons and autonomous system Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) system design, development, integration and test.
Flight Engineering is looking for a motivated and talented engineer to join the Client team in this exciting business area for the Minuteman III Sustainment program.
The candidate supports Sustainment in a wide range of existing and new areas of GN&C, performance analysis, simulation solutions, Nuclear Hardness and Survivability, and inertial instruments.
The selected candidate will have visibility into G&C and simulation methods across the Client enterprise.
Gather system level requirements for Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C), sustainment requirements definition.
Perform & document analysis of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) systems, simulations, models & tools.
Support reviews, analyses, simulations and component / system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
Support testing and troubleshooting of sustainment related products / service anomalies and incidents.
Participate in Minuteman III Guidance efforts to ensure End of Life (EOL) can be sustained or surpassed.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with simulation and/or system/component modeling.Experience with Kalman Filter design, estimation techniques.
Experience with implementing algorithms in real time systems. Experience with auto-coding of software. Experience or coursework in computer programming in C, C#, C++, Ada or other common programming languages. Minuteman III Guidance system knowledge.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer.

Full-Time/First Shift
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
ADDITIONAL:
Domestic Travel: Potentially, about twice a year.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check.
Must clear prior to start date.
