* Work hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM as needed

Here's What You Need

* High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

* Associate degree preferred

* Bachelor's degree in medical technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science preferred

* One - year experience in Histopathology

* HT (ASCP) Histotechnician required within 90 days from hire

* HTL (ASCP) Histotechnologist required within 90 days from hire

What You Will Do

Follows laboratory procedure for specimen collection, handling, and processing.

* Specimen Integrity

* Gross Room

* Frozen Section

* Test Procedures

* Microtomy

* Preparation of Slides and Stains

* Evaluate stains

* Cytology Specimens

* Reference Lab

* Laboratory Operations

* Safety
