Job description

Position Overview
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy helping clients succeed?

Our Home-Based Data Entry and Typing Operations Associate role could be perfect for you.

You will spend your time inputting numeric data into our systems and turning client audio into polished, final documents.

You will also act as a bridge between clients and our specialized teams.

Whether you want to work 25 to 30 hours per week part-time or 35 to 40 hours per week full-time, you get to choose hours that fit your life and work style.

Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will handle a mix of numeric data entry, transcription, and client-facing tasks.

You will enter transactional records such as purchase orders, shipping manifests, and billing logs into our central database, making sure everything is accurate and complete.

On the transcription side, you will convert client audio, including interviews, lectures, and focus groups, into clear, polished transcripts.

You will also edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting to meet our high standards.

You will support clients directly by hosting brief video or chat sessions to gather project details, clarify formatting requirements, and set turnaround expectations.

Keeping client preferences documented in our CRM ensures the team stays on the same page.

You will manage workflows using tools like Trello, Jira, or Monday.com to assign tasks, track progress, and make sure projects stay on schedule.

Quality assurance is a key part of the job.

You will perform second-level checks on spreadsheets and transcripts aiming for at least 98 percent accuracy.

You will flag recurring issues and share feedback with the team to improve processes.

You will also prepare weekly summaries for clients and check in after milestone deliveries to gather feedback and keep everyone informed.

Finally, you will contribute to process documentation and training by writing clear step-by-step guides and creating short videos or slide decks to onboard new hires and cross-train colleagues.

Desired Qualifications
You should have a high school diploma.

An associate degree or relevant certificate in office administration or business technology is a plus.

At least one year of experience in data entry or transcription, either professionally or through internships and projects, is preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as you will lead virtual client sessions.

You should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic audio software such as Express Scribe.

You should also be able to multitask, set priorities, and keep clients informed.

A dependable home workspace with stable internet and minimal background noise is essential.

Time off includes eight PTO days in the first year, increasing by two days per year, plus seven paid holidays.

You will receive a $300 annual stipend for professional development with optional monthly budgets for attending virtual networking sessions or workshops.

Team bonding takes place virtually through themed hangouts and an optional annual regional meetup.
